Local Aussie Distributor, Sugoi Co, Lands Blu-Ray Release Duties for Arcane Season 1

Arcane was a massive hit for Netflix and Riot Games. And while the series is still available to stream on the platform as we wait with baited breath for Season 2 to drop, news came to light today that the planned Blu-Ray release has been nabbed for distribution purposes by local cats, Sugoi Co who will look after both Australian and New Zealand folks as far as getting this pretty special and varied package into eager hands.

Why buy the Blu-Ray if it's still streamable and the likes of Sony and Microsoft aren't that into having those drives in future platforms any more anyway? Because you're a collector, that's why and this is a pretty amazing amount of stuff to add to your hoarding (I'm talking to myself at this point, FYI). But first, a teaser:



So, what's in the box?

First, there are multiple editions ranging from a 4K version that's exclusive to this physical release and that will feature more than three hours of special features. There will also be a standard Blu-Ray release, a Steelbook UHD 4K Edition release and one very limited Collector's Edition. We've added some renders of what the CE stuff will look like via Sugoi Co, but bear in mind they are renders for promotional purposes.
