3rd-Phase Boss is the culmination of years and years of hard work and relationship building between its two owners, Stephen Farrelly and Kosta Andreadis who, between them, sport an incredible 40-plus years of industry experience in gaming and tech.

The pair worked in the magazine space back when gaming mags were the only real way to get information and eventually migrated to online where they contributed to the likes of IGN, Red Bull Gaming, Kotaku, Press-Start, Tweak Town and more, but more prominantly cut their teeth at AusGamers as co-managing editors building what was initially a file-sharing and file-mirroring site into an independent gaming powerhouse in Australia. At AusGamers the pair would help shape the site's editorial and direction for almost two decades to great applause and critical acclaim.

However, after careful consideration and with an ever-moving media landscape, they decided to become their own publisher in order to craft a modular platform delving into all of their loves; Gaming, Tech & Gear and Pop Culture. Everything 3rd-Phase Boss stands for is a celebration of so-called 'geek culture'. And, together with the unique merch aspect of the platform where they work with artists who work in and around gaming and pop culture to craft bespoke 'one of a kind'-style merch, alongside a fun and comedy-driven podcast with long-time friend and former IGN Australia Editor in Chief, Cam Shea, the duo intend to offer a unique and celebratory home for lovers of all aspects of what 3rd-Phase Boss stands for.
