Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Post-Launch Plans Showcased

New PvE, PvP, Weapons, Skins and a Horde Mode are just some of the post-launch content plans for Space Marine 2!

Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive have revealed details of the extensive post-launch content roadmap for the very popular Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Some of this content down the long road is for owners of the higher tier editions of the retail game, but out of the gate the first content drop is entirely free for all and features, for those sadists out there, an entirely new difficulty mode called Lethal. It also includes Termination and the biggest tyranid in the game thus far, the Hierophant Bio-titan.

Check out the Overview Trailer:

Alongside the free updates dropping regularly for the months to come, developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment will soon bring the Season Pass to life with a Dark Angels theme pack. New weapon styles, armour pieces, and colour schemes featuring the Unforgiven, that will expand the already numerous customisation options to unlock in the Battle Barge, are coming soon as part of the first Season Pass.

You love at least a year’s worth of post-launch content these days, especially when the bulk of it is free for everyone and anything that’s part of the aforementioned higher retail tiers is largely cosmetic. There’s no specific date yet for the first content drop other than “very soon”, so stay tuned as official details come across our desk to share with you.
