JDM: Drift Master is a "simcade" racing game that centres around Japan's racing and drift culture, which is quite big in Japan. So much so there are myriad manga, anime and live action series and movies with drifting as the main setting, which JDM: Japanese Drift Master also brings to players.

Featuring a full story mode presented in manga form, JDM: Japanese Drift Master also has highly detailed licensed cars by manufacturers such as Subaru, Mazda and Nissan, as well as famous Japanese drift courses from with the bustling central location of Ichikara, derived from some of Japan's most iconic urban locations. Ichikara is just one part of a larger open-world titled Guntama which, although fictional, is "inspired by the mountainous region of Honshu". The game is promising some 250km of main roads to explore as well.

Finally, the "simcade" aspect of the game means it features an "easy to learn but difficult to master" tilt on proceedings and will cater to fans who just want to pick up and play or those who want to tweak every aspect of their vehicle, race or other adjustable variable in-game. Additionally, a robust customisation toolset will allow players to make their own stamp on their livery with new paint colours, patterns and decals and graphics.
