This Disney Art-Inspired Horror Game Looks Terrifyingly Amazing

Where fairytales, fantasy and horror meet in a visual tour de force!.

Bye Sweet Carole will look immediately familiar to all audiences upon first glance, and you'd be right to initially think you're taking a gander at a long lost Disney fairytale classic, except what you're actually looking at is a stunningly-crafted horror adventure game.

Go ahead, see for yourself:

The game comes from the twisted mind of Italian game designer, Chris Darril, of the Remothered series and is clearly inspired by the fantastical classics mentioned above, onl with an horrific spin.

Bye Sweet Carole invites players into a beautifully twisted world where horror and fantasy collide. Step into the role of Lana Benton, a brave young girl determined to uncover the chilling truth behind the mysterious disappearance of her best friend, Carole, from the eerie Bunny Hall orphanage.

In addition to launching across all platforms on October 9, the game will release in physical form as well for PS5 and Nintendo Switch (October 10 for Aussies and Kiwis). If you've already been following the game, the trailer above showcases new levels, characters and other teasers at what is looking like a sleeper hit in the horror space. There's just something about taking the wholesome visuals of Disney classics and horrorifying them, and we can't get enough of it.
