Denshattack! is the Extreme Sports Train Game You Didn't Know You Needed

Head-turning doesn't even begin to describe what Denshattack! is...

Ever thought trains needed more kickflip or pop shuvit opportunities? Or rail-to-rail grind lines and gaps? How about bosses to battle in train vs mech form?

Yeah, us too.

Denshattack! from Undercoders is one of the craziest games -- and concepts -- we've seen in some time, and we've been at this caper for awhile. But don't let us try and sell you on its outlandishness, just take a look at the trailer below, then stick around a couple extra stops as we try and pull apart what this train ride really is!

Arcade insanity at its absolute best, and Japanese as all get up, Denshuattack! is the sort of game westerners love as gateways into the zany world of Japanese design, and we simply can't wait to see how it all plays. What we do know so far is it's set in a dystopian Japan seemingly run by an evil corporation you will have to fight. Said corporation has mech-forming capabilities because... Japan, and in order to face these oppressive overlords you need to trick your way through a series of stages as a train carriage sporting some pretty fun graffiti.

Oh, and there will be rival gangs, too.

Is all the above enough to tickle your fun side? If not, you are probably an unfeeling monster. There's currently no release date for the game, however, you can Wishlist it now on Steam, PS5 and Xbox. Stay tuned for more as we have it, and have a scroll through a number of screens in our carousel below that will equally tell you pretty much nothing other than you're in for one wild, wild ride with this one.
