You've Got a Month to Eliminate Snoop Dogg... in HITMAN World of Assassination that is

Gin 'n Juice

The legendary Snoop Dogg is both no stranger to the world of cameos, nor a slouch when it comes to games. An avid gamer himself, the 3rd-Phase Boss team has spotted him at multiple trade-shows such as Summer Game Fest and the now defunct Electronics Entertainment Expo (or, E3), over the journey having even spoken to him on random occasions on those run-ins and have never been disappointed, let alone inclined to take up a contract kill against him, and yet here we are, staring down orders for an "Elusive Target" mission in HITMAN World of Assassination with a month to complete.

In fact, if you've never been employed by the HWOA or its parent company, IO Interactive, you can even attempt this assassination for free, which kind of feels at odds with contract killing, but whatever -- we don't make the rules.

Here's the official briefing:

Starting Thursday, August 27 through till September 26, players already signed up to HITMAN World of Assassination can partake in Snoop's exclusive mission "the Herbalist", while anyone yet to sign up to the service can also enjoy this mission as part of a free demo, just click here to learn more.

In addition to this DLC for the base game, IO has also shared a new roadmap for fans to take a look at, and if you are indeed new to this, know that Snoops isn't the only celebrity to pop his noggin into the world of Agent 47 targets with the likes of Sean BeanWiz Khalifa and even Eminem, among many others.

It's all a bit whacky, but also speaks to the staying power of this IP which has withstood plenty of downs during its time through various publishers and other elements, but IO has always stuck to its silenced guns to maintain control and to keep the contracts churning.

Good luck, Agent 47.
