Dead Space Comes to Battlefield 6 in a Limited Time Event

The irony is, a militaristic action-heavy Isaac experience might have actually been what properly killed the franchise...

Just a very brief one, but EA and DICE have let Motive place its Marker inside the world of Battlefield 6, unleashing all manner of Isaac and Necromorphic horrors to current players.

Running from October 20 through till November 10, Battlefield 6's Rush mode in a PVE event, entirely inspired by Dead Space. Take a look at the horrors below:

What's most interesting about this is that Motive has been given the keys for this specific event which suggests the studio's time with Dead Space isn't done, despite rumours of a Dead Space 2 Remake or even a Dead Space 4 from Motive being quashed not long after its critically acclaimed Dead Space Remake released.

Then there's also the forever rumour of a film adaptation that at one time had The Thing director John Carpenter attached, never quite going away and often these things can sneak up on us, equally often starting with seemingly small initiatives like the above.

Though maybe we simply live in hope as absolute die-hard Dead Space and Isaac Clarke fans.
