Fill 'Er Up, Mate - Servonauts Comes to PC and Switch in November
Brings a tear to the eye hearing and seeing such Aussie representation in games, and it's kind of even more poignant in Servonauts from MAXART Games, because one of the big differences between us and the US and other parts of the world is in our petrol culture, from how we talk about and utilise 'servos' ("gas stations" to most others) to how it helped put us on the big screen map, ala one Mad Max film series.
Part Overcooked, part "Insert Party Game Name Here: ___________", Servonauts is exactly the type of couch co-op experience designed to test relationships -- blood or water-based -- but to also keep you glued to the screen and yelling instructions no matter the outcome. Have a gander at the release date trailer:
Coming to PC and Nintendo Switch this November 21 and supporting 1-4 players in cooperative play, Servonauts can also be played solo with AI helpers, while the PC version has online support as well as couch co-op by way of Steam Remote Play. The Switch version is couch co-op-only and there's no crossplay. At least not yet.
Players will battle ever-evolving stages while also making sure to use and mix the right fuels for the right vehicles while also battling wobbly pipes that use over-the-top physics to push player-patience to its limit.
Check out a batch of screens in our image carousel below from both the Switch version and the PC version (respectively) to go along with the release date announcement, and congrats to MAXART Games and Servonauts publisher, Untold Tales, for the release milestone.
