Sektor's Trailer for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reign is a Ninja Iron Woman Fantasy Come True

Combos for days, and no, we won't subsitute the "C" in combat with a "K", NetherRealm!

Looking more like a G.I. Joe action figure out of the 80s (and one I would have bought in a heartbeat), Sektor's trailer debut for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns expansion is just truly awesome. And like most of Mortal Kombat, it goes on forever, but we could watch these combos endlessly.

Check it out:

Sektor is one of six new characters coming to the roster, and has a storyline for the ages.

In Fire God Liu Kang’s New Era, Sektor grew up immersed in Lin Kuei culture – her father was its master armorer, and her mother was a leading warrior. This vast knowledge of weaponry and formidable martial skills passed down from her parents make Sektor a kombatant like no other. Sensing a kindred spirit, Sub-Zero shared with her his grand vision for the Lin Kuei's future and chose her to become his most trusted lieutenant. Now Sektor will force the Lin Kuei to evolve and those who cannot change will be eliminated.

Sektor joins Cyrax and Noob Saibot as official MK characters heading your way, alongside more pop culture blow-ins by way of Ghostface from the Scream franchise, The Terminator's T-1000 and this writer's personal fave, Conan from Conan the Barbarian. The new content -- and characters -- will be available from September 25 on all platforms. In addition to all of the above, "Animalities" will be added as a free update alongside release of the Khaos Reigns content.
