Kris Kristofferson Passes Away at Age 88
A country music legend as a singer-songwriter and a truly memorable actor across TV and film, Kris Kiristoffersson entertained millions over a career spanning decades. He passed "peacefully surrounded by family" a statement said.
He was 88.
Having worked with the likes of Johnny Cash and Martin Scorsese, among so many others, he might best be remembered in pop culture circles for his portrayal of Whistler alongside Wesley Snipes in the Blade series of movies (Blade, Blade II and Blade: Trinity). (Where other now-big name actors and filmmakers such as Ryan Reynolds and Guillermo del Toro got their bigger opportunities.)
More recently he also appeared in the hit A Star is Born.
