This Animated Little Nightmares III Trailer is Games-as-Art at its Finest

Not that Little Nightmares has ever needed to remind anyone that it is also 'games-as-art' (it's such a terrible way to have to explain gaming sometime, but still feels necessary), but this fresh animated trailer simply adds to the game's already incredible artistic legacy and only has us champing at the bit to play it that much more.

Ahead of the game's October 10 release, there are elements in the trailer above highlighting areas the pair of Low and Alone will need to go, but in case you haven't been fully across this third entry in the popular dark and twisted side-scrolling series, we have more than a handful of images to peruse in our carousel below.

Trapped within the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing places, the two friends will have to work together to survive in a dangerous world full of delusions and escape the graps of an even greater threat lurking in the shadows. 

For the first time in the series' history, players will be able to confront their nightmares with a friend with a true co-op experience.
