Just in time for Shadow of the Erdtree, the first (and apparently only) expansion for Elden Ring, peripheral mainstay Thrustmaster has revealed the ESWAP X2 Pro Controller Elden Ring Edition -- officially licensed and built specifically for the Xbox and PC platforms. The controller is a celebration of one of the most celebrated Souls-likes of all time and for players happy to play with third-party peripherals, the perfect accompaniment to any sojourn through the Land of Shadow.

According the press release we received, the controller will feature a modular swap design that lets you lay everything out as you prefer utilising so-called "Hot-Swap" technology. All buttons on the controller are also mechanical, featuring top-end responsiveness with an "activation distance reduced to just 0.01" / 0.3 mm".

In addition, two S5 NXG mini-sticks allow for precision control, according to Thrustmaster, in keeping with the theme of these types of games from a timing and input perspective when battling precision-centric enemies and bosses.

You'll also have the ability to remap specific functions to four buttons on the back of the controller, allowing you to have quick access to items, weapons and more -- all based on how you prefer to play. And finally, utilising the ThrustmasterX software, sensitivty levels of most aspects of the controller are completely maleable allowing you to craft a near PC-like setup.
