CORSAIR Teams with Aimlabs for a Science-Based Leap in Mouse Design for Personalised Aiming Technology

A more precise game of cat and mouse...

R&D in the mouse world for competitive gaming is bigger than some might think. Latency, click-ratings, DPI increments, ergonomics... the works -- there's a lot that goes into modern mouse design, meaning each company is always on the look out for an edge.

Enter CORSAIR's pairing with science-based research firm, Aimlabs.

Through an extensive and exhaustive collaborative process that netted "billions of training sessions", the two companies landed on PureVector, a personalisation integration that applies a set of tools around your own biomechanical inputs when gaming, adjusting to areas that you favour to 'even out' your movement and aiming experience. Your own "directional bisases" can craft a flawed experience that is more laboured than it needs to be, PureVector's technology therefore replaces any static DPI values with a calibration sequence powered by data sets based on your own "weaknesses and accentuate strengths". The idea is to serve up a more symmetrical experience based on your inputs, even if you tend to wildly aim this way or that, PureVector will adjust and create a profile specifically tailored to your input style, which is then directly uploaded to the mouse's firmware.

The hardware housing this innovative leap is CORSAIR's new flagship SABRE v3 Pro PureVector Mouse Series which offers six models with three material options. Each also comes with a right-hand ergo model, or a symmetrical one. Here's the official details supplied to us via press release and an intimate presentation by both CORSAIR and Aimlabs, broken down by each mouse model in the series.
